Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated · 12 June 2026

Eternal Memorial exists to honour real lives with dignity. This policy describes the small number of things that are not welcome on the platform, so the experience stays meaningful for everyone.

1. The spirit of the platform

Living Legacy and Memorial stories are written with care. We expect content — including biographies, photographs, Legacy Messages, Tributes and Memorial Candles — to reflect that same care.

2. Not permitted

3. Tributes and Legacy Messages

Story owners — and their Story Guardians — can review and approve tributes before they appear publicly. We may also remove tributes that breach this policy at our discretion.

4. Reporting

If you believe a story, photograph or tribute breaches this policy, or if you are a family member with a concern about a Memorial, email support@eternalmemorial.com. Include the story URL and a short description. We will look into every report.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may contact the account holder, remove specific content, temporarily suspend a story, or, in serious cases, terminate the account. Where we can, we will give the account holder a chance to address the issue first.

6. Appeals

If you believe we have acted in error, reply to our enforcement email within 30 days and a different member of our team will review the decision.

7. Our intent

Our goal is always to preserve stories, not remove them. We will seek practical and respectful solutions wherever possible while protecting the integrity of the platform and the people it honours.
